ASHM is pleased to provide this new course that dives deep into core elements of a nurse and midwife’s scope of practice relating to hepatitis B. This course will provide nursing and midwifery professionals with in-depth, practical and person-centred hepatitis B care information, and will focus on a different topic each session.
Course Components
The online course is structured as 2 hours of facilitated interactive education via webinar. A mix of learning methods will be used including:
Interaction between the course speaker, facilitator and attendees will be encouraged, enabling attendees to speak to their experience working in the hepatitis B/viral hepatitis field and fostering an information exchange.
Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course participants will be able to:
Target Audience
Nurses and midwives working in Australia who see patients living with HBV or from high-prevalence populations and have previous experience and knowledge of hepatitis B.
CPD
This activity is equivalent to 2 CPD hours.
