Become a Member
Our members are physicians, nurses, researchers, epidemiologists, social workers, pharmacists, and allied health workers – united to eliminate harm from these diseases and to protect our diverse communities.
We have a range of individual membership options available to you, depending on your occupation, location, and employment status.
Organisations and Affiliates
Our collaboration with over 60 Organisational Members helps us to be leaders within the sector, through advocacy, policy direction, direct action and workforce capacity building.
The ASHM Organisational Sustaining Membership Program strives to be inclusive, drawing together a range of professions supporting people living with HIV, viral hepatitis, sexual and reproductive health issues and related diseases.
How to become a partner of ASHM through Organisational Sustaining Membership
The ASHM Organisational Sustaining Membership fee is tailored to the size, nature and scope of an organisation.
Organisational Sustaining Members have access to our affiliate program, which extends most of the benefits of ASHM membership to employees and/or members at no extra individual cost.
Organisational Sustaining Members also enjoy priority placement of any news or information they would like share within the monthly ASHM e-News, as well as free job placement advertisements in our careers bulletin (waiving the $200 fee). Both electronic publications are sent to over 5,000 individual subscribers.
Please fill out the form below and a member of our ASHM membership team will reach out to you to develop a package to suit your requirements. Alternatively you can also call us on 02 8204 0700 to speak to a member of our team.
Our distinguished ASHM Honorary Life Members
Honorary Life status is the highest membership recognition given by ASHM and carries with it all the rights and privileges of a member, with exemption from payment of the annual membership subscription.
Each year we formally recognise one or two individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the Australasian, regional or global response to HIV, viral hepatitis, other BBVs and sexually transmitted infections and by doing so have furthered our vision and mission. Our achievements over the last 30 years would not have been made possible without the generosity of time, input, and expertise of our Honorary Life Members.
