Funded by UNAIDS, the Chemsex Toolkit and training package has been developed to strengthen the capacity of clinical services providers to support comprehensive clinical services, including delivery of sensitive and competent care, for men who have sex with men and transgender women who engage in chemsex. When implemented, the chemsex toolkit is expected to contribute to reductions in new HIV, viral hepatitis and other sexually transmissible infections through the improved delivery of supportive clinical services that includes prevention, testing and treatment. The chemsex toolkit is a guide for clinical service providers to support the delivery of patient centred care and provide harm reduction strategies to improve clients’ sexual, physical and psychological health.
