Directed at aged care and community nurses, this online learning module has been designed as an introduction to HIV, with a focus on the health challenges of HIV in ageing.
This one-hour learning module includes 3 topic areas:
1. Introduction to HIV
2. Ageing with HIV
3.The nurse’s role in HIV and ageing
Learning Objectives:
Target Audience: Registered and enrolled nurses working in aged care and community healthcare services and settings.
CPD: This activity is equivalent to 1 CPD hour.
Endorsement: This activity is endorsed by the Australian College of Nursing (ACN), the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA), the Australasian Sexual Health and HIV Nurses Association (ASHHNA) and the Australian & New Zealand Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANZANAC).
