Course Overview

On Friday 24th February 2023, ASHM hosted its inaugural Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum. With expert panels and interactive case discussions, the 2023 Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum was an opportunity to dive deep into emerging areas of hepatitis B treatment and management and discuss the contemporary issues facing hepatitis B clinical care in Australia. The recordings for the forum have been broken into Part 1 and Part 2.

Part 2: National Hepatitis B Prescriber Forum 2023 contains the recordings of the following case studies and prescriber models of care submissions:

  • Providing culturally responsive care to patients who are refugees or from migrant backgrounds
  • Seroconversion
  • Providing culturally responsive care to patients that identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • Hepatitis B in Pregnancy
  • Prescriber Submissions: Models of Care

For watching Part 2 you will accrue 1 HBV CPD. For watching both Part 1 and Part 2 you will accrue a total of 2 HBV CPD.

The module completion record will be constantly monitored by the ASHM HBV Prescriber Team. If you are an HBV Prescriber, please be advised that HBV CPD points will be uploaded onto the prescriber portal/MyASHM automatically by ASHM staff during the renewal period.
