The HBV s100 Community Prescriber Program does not have a CPD-exempt category. Aligning with the PBS, any medical practitioner, inclusive of ID physicians and Sexual Health Physicians, who work within community settings (not affiliated with a hospital) needs to complete the s100 accreditation to prescribe medications for hepatitis B.  

Clinicians working in hospital settings are still encouraged to remain in the hepatitis B prescriber program as this allows them to be visible on our prescriber map and to receive additional education opportunities. Regardless of the workplace setting, any clinician who takes part in the HBV s100 Community Prescriber Program must accrue three HBV CPD points each year.
