Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between ‘On Demand’ and ‘virtual’ courses?

January 30, 2024

On Demand courses are our online learning modules. These online and self-directed courses let you complete courses and modules at your own pace and at any time. There are no live components, meaning there are no live webinar sessions you must attend.

Virtual courses are courses that have a live component. If you register for a virtual course, you will need to attend a live webinar session to earn professional development hours or points and earn a Statement of Attendance. Virtual courses are conducted online and have a speaker presenting the content. They may also have pre- and post-course activities as part of the course, and they will need to be completed in your own time.
