Beyond the C is part of a National hepatitis C 50,000 Project to find 50,000 people living with hepatitis C who have not accessed treatment, support and care. We are calling on people across Australia working in general practice to join the Beyond the C program to help identify, support, and enhance people’s well-being and eliminate hepatitis C. Beyond the C provides a comprehensive and incentivised package of follow-up and support for general practices to actively engage in case-finding activities for their patients. There is a $1,500 incentive for practices who sign up and complete the program.

Event overview:
The first half of the event will focus on the Beyond the C program launch. An overview of the Finding 50,000 initiative will be provided, including details on implementing the program in general practice. Following a short break, the second half of the event will focus on the practical aspects of hepatitis C case finding and processes for recalling patients in your general practice.
