The s100 Prescriber Programs provide in-depth training and ongoing support, and other resources include clinical guidelines, educational materials, research publications, and decision making materials.

Interested in becoming a HIV s100 prescriber?

The following are the steps needed to become a HIV s100 prescriber

HIV Course

Attend the HIV s100 Prescriber Course and pass the post course assessment within 4 weeks of attending.

Alternatively, apply to receive recognition for prior experience in the management of HIV.

Application

Submit the application form provided by us, and establish HIV specialist and prescriber mentor support.

Application review

The National HIV Standards Training and Accreditation Committee will then review your application.

Approval

If approved, we will send a recommendation for prescribing rights to the relevant state or territory health department.

Authorisation

Formal authorisation will be granted, and we will send you a welcome email with resources.

Maintaining accreditation

To maintain accreditation, prescribers must undertake ongoing HIV specific continuing professional development to earn 7 HIV prescriber points per calendar year.

This is where you can track your prescriber points, submit activities to earn more, update your map listing, and manage your profile.
