After completing the modules, you will be able to:
- Describe risk factors, clinical signs, symptoms and complications of advanced liver disease
- Explain why all patients undergoing chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy should be screened for hepatitis B
- Outline recommendations for the management of women with chronic hepatitis B before, during and after pregnancy
- Identify situations where specialist advice or referral is required
Existing HBV s100 prescribers: Use these modules to refresh your knowledge and contribute to your HBV CPD requirements (1 point for completion of each module). Module completion records will be checked by ASHM staff during the prescriber renewal period, and CPD points allocated accordingly.
