Overview

With syphilis rates continuing to rise in Australia, it is vital that healthcare workers in primary care and community settings know how to identify opportunities for syphilis testing for earlier detection and treatment.

This one-hour free webinar will provide healthcare professionals with an update on the latest developments, guidelines and recommendations around syphilis testing, diagnosis, and management. Featuring clinical professionals from Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, attendees will also be given the tools to recognize typical, atypical and asymptomatic presentations of syphilis, confidently discuss syphilis with patients, as well as understanding their notification and contract tracing obligations.
