Over the last decade, rates of syphilis in Australia have increased by more than 50 per cent, and in 2025 there were 14 cases of congenital syphilis. These figures demonstrate the ongoing need for timely testing, screening, and treatment of syphilis, and the crucial role primary care workers play in reducing syphilis in the community.
This live interactive webinar, in collaboration with Queensland Syphilis Surveillance Service (QSSS) is designed to provide primary care workers in Queensland with an introduction to syphilis, including testing, treatment and management, and the role of primary care in controlling syphilis transmission.
This course is for healthcare professionals practicing in QLD. While others are welcome to register, please note some content will be specific to QLD.
