Overview

Join us in Stay Ahead, Stay PrEP’d for a practical and engaging update on PrEP and its role in preventing HIV transmission in Australia.

This webinar will cover current HIV epidemiology, PrEP eligibility, daily and on-demand dosing options, prescribing and monitoring requirements, and common clinical scenarios encountered in practice. Through case-based discussion, participants will gain practical strategies to confidently support patients seeking PrEP and deliver evidence-based HIV prevention care.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Describe HIV epidemiology in Australia and the different HIV prevention strategies
  • Explain different options for PrEP dosing
  • Provide patient education on the effectiveness and appropriate use of PrEP
  • Implement the Decision Making in PrEP tool to manage patients on PrEP

Accreditation pending with RACGP for 1 hour.
