Overview

This two-part online workshop provides primary care providers with the information and tools required to improve STI screening and care for priority populations. The workshop also addresses strategies available for the prevention of HIV transmission and highlights the importance of contact tracing and partner notification.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this course and its components, participants will be able to:  

  • Demonstrate confidence in discussing sexual health with patients ​ 
  • Explain the importance of screening and testing for STIs and BBVs ​ 
  • Describe contact tracing and its key role in managing STIs
