Migrants, international students, and Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Scheme (PALM) workers can face unique barriers to accessing fundamental sexual health care in Australia, which can lead to poorer sexual health outcomes.
As nearly 1 in 3 people currently living in Australia were born overseas, it is crucial that primary healthcare providers are confident and capable in providing culturally safe and supportive sexual health services to multicultural communities.
This one-hour webinar will equip GPs, nurses and primary care providers who work with culturally diverse groups with the confidence and knowledge to deliver effective and culturally safe sexual health care. Attendees can expect engaging and informative case-based discussions and presentations where they will learn practical clinical and communication skills to discuss sexual health with these populations.
