Overview

This course dives into core elements of a nurse and midwife’s scope of practice relating to hepatitis B. Nursing and midwifery professionals are provided with in-depth, practical and person-centred hepatitis B care information, with a different will focus and topic each session. This sessions topic is Hepatitis B in pregnancy and infants.

Learning outcomes:

  • Describe the importance of inclusive, person-centred and culturally safe care in the management of hepatitis B patients
  • Discuss the role of the nurse and midwife using evidence-based care for people living with hepatitis B
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement activities within practice with regards to hepatitis B management

HBV s100 Prescribers will receive 1 HBV Prescriber Point at the completion of the recording.
