This online learning module is the second in a 3 part Monitoring and Evaluation Training Package for UNAIDS Technical Support Mechanism (TSM) Consultants.
It follows Module 1: Making and Managing Quality Data and is followed by Module 3: Communicating Data for Change. The training modules can be done independently of each other, but for best outcomes it is advised to complete them in order.
This module provides an overview of the principles and practices for analysing data, making sense of data and visualising data. After completing this module, you should be able to:
- Describe different approaches to analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
- Explain ways to facilitate sensemaking activities and validate data
- Describe strategies for visualisation of qualitative and quantitative data
- Provide examples of how consultants can support local organisations with data analysis, sensemaking and visualisation.
