The Forum brings together health professionals working across the Queensland Prison space. The focus for 2026 is on incorporating opiate dependence treatment (ODT) as a tool for reducing harm and the spread of hepatitis C (HCV), and how ODT could influence our efforts towards HCV elimination.
The Forum will continue to consider the broader system-level barriers and the implications onblood borne virus (BBV) management within the corrections environment.
A limited number of scholarships are available to support the representation of all correctional centres. See below for more details.

A limited number of scholarships are available to help support attendance and representation of correctional centres throughout QLD. We encourage those outside of Brisbane to apply. Scholarships include 1 night of accommodation, return flights, and/or fuel reimbursement.
