About the role
As a Population Health Nurse, you’ll provide sexual health, blood-borne virus and hepatology care to patients in NSW correctional centres.
It’s a varied role combining clinical care, patient education, prevention, and follow-up, with opportunities to work closely with a supportive specialist team.
Justice Health is looking for a nurse with strong clinical skills, good judgement, an interest in population health and a commitment to providing respectful, patient-centred care.
You don’t need to come to the role with experience in every area. Justice Health will support you with training and opportunities to build your knowledge and confidence in sexual health, hepatitis and blood-borne virus care.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, are open to learning and are looking for a nursing role that’s a little different, Justice Health would like to hear from you.
How to Apply
The first step is to submit your resume and answers to the following targeted questions:
- Outline your knowledge and clinical experience in sexual health and blood borne viruses, including assessment and management of patients.
- Demonstrate how you would manage your workload and competing priorities in a complex environment and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
