Digital Education Operations Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the Role

We are seeking a Digital Education Operations Manager to lead the delivery and continuous improvement of ASHM’s education programs across Australia and New Zealand. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing education operations within the Digital and Technology Team, with a strong focus on people leadership, system improvement, and scalable delivery. You will lead the Project Administrator team, ensure high-quality and consistent course delivery, and work across teams to strengthen systems, processes, and compliance frameworks that support ASHM’s education programs. This role suits someone who enjoys building structure, improving workflows, and leading teams to deliver impactful, high-quality education at scale.

About You

You are an operational leader and systems thinker who enjoys improving how things work and enabling others to succeed. You bring a strong balance of people leadership, coordination, and systems thinking, and are comfortable working across multiple teams and priorities.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and can confidently manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities without losing attention to detail. You are organised, proactive, and able to bring structure and clarity to complex or evolving workflows.

You are naturally curious and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes. You’re comfortable working with digital platforms such as CRM, LMS, and SharePoint, and can translate operational needs into practical system improvements.

You value consistency and efficiency, and enjoy building templates, standard operating procedures, and scalable processes that make work easier for others. You take pride in creating clear, repeatable ways of working that support high-quality, consistent delivery across teams.

You bring a diverse background and a breadth of experience, which may include education delivery, training, program coordination, or operational roles. You are able to draw on this experience to approach challenges from multiple angles and contribute to a collaborative, adaptable team environment.

You are a strong communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and you take ownership of your work while supporting those around you.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience leading or coordinating teams, with a focus on supporting staff capability, consistency, and performance

  • Has strong experience managing or improving education delivery, program operations, or similar complex workflows

  • Is confident overseeing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Has experience working with digital platforms such as CRM, LMS, SharePoint, or similar systems

  • Can design, improve, and scale workflows, systems, and processes to support efficient delivery
