AusPATH is the national peak body representing, supporting, and connecting those working to strengthen the health, rights, and wellbeing of all trans people – binary and non-binary.
We are pleased to announce ASHM & ACON’s Trans And Gender Diverse Sexual Health Care E-Learning has been endorsed by the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health (AusPATH). AusPATH is Australia’s peak body for professionals involved in the health, rights, and well-being of all trans people – binary and non-binary.
Endorsement by AusPATH demonstrates that the e-learning aligns with the aims of the organisation and best practice in trans affirming care. ASHM, ACON and AusPATH alongside a broader Working Group are currently developing a second e-learning and complementary online course. These activities are aimed at prescribers working in a sexual health or primary health setting, or delivering sexual health care in primary health care services and will provide advanced training on gender affirming healthcare (e.g., Gender Affirming Hormonal Therapies (GAHT), such as testosterone or oestrogen).
