National PrEP Map

The National PrEP Map is a clinical referral tool designed to make it easier for health care workers across Australia to find medical and nurse practitioners who prescribe HIV pre‑exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).

Who Is Included on the Map?

The clinicians listed on this map are medical practitioners and nurse practitioners who have chosen to be publicly listed as PrEP prescribers. Information displayed has been self‑submitted directly to ASHM.

Important: Any medical practitioner or nurse practitioner in Australia can prescribe PrEP. No additional certification or training is required.

If you are unable to find a PrEP prescriber in your area, please contact your closest sexual health clinic.

Note: Although this list is updated frequently by our team, please use the above map for the latest results.

Disclaimer:

ASHM maintains this map as a public service to support access to PrEP. Clinicians included in the National PrEP Map self‑nominate to be listed, and ASHM does not independently verify the clinical practices of individual providers.

ASHM is committed to ensuring best-practice and quality of care is provided to people seeking provision of care. While we promote and encourage best‑practice PrEP prescribing, we are not responsible for the clinical conduct, advice, or services provided by any individual listed on the map. If you experience any issues with a listed clinician, please use the contact form below.
