Course overview

This 1-hour session will update HIV s100 prescribers and practitioners on new topics relevant to the management of people living with HIV in 2026. This update will focus on HIV and Women.

Learning Outcomes:

On completion of this course and its components, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the key factors that influence HIV risk and care needs in women.
  • Apply evidence-based screening, prevention, and treatment guidelines for HIV in women.
  • Demonstrate effective, stigma-free communication and patient-centred care to support women in accessing HIV testing, adhering to treatment, and navigating psychosocial challenges.
