- Full-time position (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday in Meanjin (Brisbane).
- Fixed-term contract to 30 June 2027 (in alignment with all employee contracts).
- Social, Community, Home Care and Disabilities Award 2010 Level 6 + superannuation.
- Salary packaging available to increase your take-home income.
About the role
The Operations Team Leader leads the Operations Team and coordinates the operational systems that support QPP’s programs and services across Queensland. Working closely with the Executive Operations Manager, the role ensures the organisation’s infrastructure, administrative systems and operational services function effectively to support program delivery.
The Operations Team supports the organisation across administration, finance coordination, communications and digital systems, quality and compliance systems, and operational logistics and infrastructure. The Operations Team Leader plays an important role in ensuring organisational systems enable program teams to deliver effective services to communities across Queensland.
This role requires sound operational judgement and the confidence to address operational issues independently while knowing when matters require escalation or strategic input.
The role suits someone who enjoys improving organisational systems, coordinating workflows and supporting teams to work efficiently in a complex operational environment.

About Queensland Positive People
For more than 37 years, Queensland Positive People (QPP) has been a peer-led community organisation working alongside communities to improve the lives of people living with and affected by HIV across Queensland, while helping reduce new transmissions of HIV and other STIs.
QPP delivers peer navigation, community engagement, prevention, testing and health support programs in partnership with health services and government to strengthen community health outcomes. These include case management for people living with HIV, HIV and sexual health prevention, testing and treatment services, as well as public health campaigns, advocacy, policy development and research.
Our work contributes to the goal of virtually eliminating HIV transmission while ensuring people living with HIV and affected communities can live well, free from stigma and discrimination.
