This two-part online course aims to provide practitioners with an overview of sexual and reproductive health care in general practice, covering sexual health, sexual history taking, STI screening, contraception and unintended pregnancy.
This training also discusses how STI screening can be integrated into contraception and unintended pregnancy consultations.

Part 1 will cover:
- Incorporating SRH discussions into consultations
- Sexual history taking
- Guidelines for STI testing
- Sample collection
- Approach to common STIs
- Contract tracing
Part 2 will cover:
- Components of Sexual Health
- Implementing effective sexual history taking
- Integrating evidence based STI and cervical cancer screenings into practice
- Current contraceptive options and counselling points
- Discussion on unplanned pregnancy, including counselling and discussion of options
Please note that full attendance of both live, facilitated sessions is necessary for a statement of attendance to be issued.

GPs, GP registrars, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, and other health professionals working in primary care settings.
