ASHM is excited to host HIV & Syphilis: A Gold Coast Update. Did you know there were close to 1,000 cases of syphilis recorded in QLD in 2024 alone? This evening event is designed to update General Practitioners (GPs) and Nurses on the latest epidemiology, testing and treatment for both HIV and Syphilis. The session will include a case study discussion to explore real-world scenarios, clinical considerations, and best practices in treating HIV and Syphilis. Complimentary dinner and dessert will be provided along with opportunities to network.

Applications are open to individuals who are part of the event’s target audience and will be assessed based on submission time, financial need, and other extenuating circumstances.
While we aim to support as many people as possible, we are only able to provide scholarships to a small number of applicants who require assistance to attend. Successful applicants will be notified by May 22, 2025.
