Learning Outcomes:
- Demonstrate competence in utilising cardiovascular risk calculators to assess patient risk profiles and guide appropriate preventative interventions.
- Describe the indications, strengths and limitations of CT coronary angiography (CTCA) compared to coronary artery calcium scoring in the assessment of cardiovascular disease risk.
- Apply knowledge of common drug interactions, including those relevant to HIV and cardiovascular medications, to identify and manage potential adverse effects in clinical practice.
