To provide training, education, and supervision to other Sexual Health staff, actively contribute to the service and to provide professional leadership within a specialist medical area.

About the role

Metro North Hospital & Health Service’s ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values:

• Provision of high quality, evidence based, culturally appropriate clinical care for sexual health related dermatoses in a specialist environment working within a collaborative practice model of care.
• Perform and participate in research and clinical trials in cooperation and collaboration with staff from any discipline at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, related hospitals, or other institutions.
• Undertake quality improvement and evidence-based practice activities to ensure the provision of quality, cost-effective care.
• Comply with procedures, policies, regulations, and standards which impact upon the position.
