Clinical Nurse Consultant – Sexual Health – Queensland Health

Queensland Health are looking for a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Sexual Health.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will provide advanced specialist nursing expertise in contemporary sexual health practice and workforce education, particularly as it relates to BBV/STI prevention and management. You will demonstrate advanced specialist knowledge of public health nursing, including communicable disease control, epidemiology, immunology, immunisation, and health promotion with a specific focus on sexual health. Additionally, you will collaborate with others in the provision of policy advice and workforce development issues relating to professional and clinical practice, education and research in area of expertise.

Role fit

  • Demonstrated advanced expertise in contemporary sexual health and public health nursing, with specialised knowledge in the management of BBV/STIs to improve individual and population health outcomes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships across Queensland’s public health system.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team with a commitment to fostering a positive team culture and collective responsibility for outcomes.
