The 1st Australasian Conference on Point of Care Testing for Infectious Diseases was a resounding success.

Over 270 attendees from 19 different countries participated in the conference on the 14th and 15th of March at the Sydney Sheraton Grand Hyde Park. The conference was a sold-out event and attracted professionals from multiple disciplines, diseases areas and institutions.

The conference featured a range of presentations and workshops, covering topics such as the latest developments in point of care testing technologies, the role of point of care testing in infectious disease management and control, and the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing point of care testing in different healthcare settings.

Attendees also had the opportunity to network with their peers, exchange ideas and best practices, and engage in lively discussions on the future of point of care testing for infectious diseases.
