About the Role
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora are seeking a Sexual Health Physician to join their small but dedicated team who provide sexual health services. This position is based at Palmerston North Hospital and will provide services across the MidCentral district through satellite clinics.
Their specialist services have a strong focus on providing quality care while building strong relationships with our colleagues in the secondary and primary care sectors. The role includes HIV management, genital dermatology, gender affirming care and the option for procedural contraception. There may also be the opportunity for work in forensic sexual assault or other special interests that the successful candidate might bring with them.
To be eligible for this position you will meet the requirements for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, in Sexual Health Medicine.
