Course Overview

Point-of-care tests provide an opportunity for providing testing to people who may not otherwise seek testing from medical settings and can enhance linkage to care. This module provides training in the principles of quality control procedures for point-of-care-testing.

Prerequisite Learning: In order to gain access to this module, students must have completed:

  1. Infection control for point-of-care-testing
  2. And at least one of the following

Target audience: This program is designed for healthcare workers who will perform, or supervise the performance of, Hepatitis C, Hepatitis B, or HIV testing using these devices.
