Course Overview
Clinical Auditing and Case Finding Fundamentals is an eLearning course designed as an introduction to quality improvement (QI) and aims to support your understanding of the role and importance of QI within general practices.
The module looks at the benefits of QI for the community, the practice and the patient, diving into fundamental principles and methodologies associated with clinical auditing and case finding. The module is composed of two topics: Quality Improvement and the PDSA Cycle and Running a PDSA Cycle.

Learning Objectives
- Describe the benefits of undertaking quality improvement activities
- Use the Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) cycle for quality improvement activities
- Recognise opportunities for quality improvement activities in your practice setting
