Course Overview

In Australia, almost 3000 people are living with undiagnosed HIV and as such cannot access life-saving treatment. The screening and testing of HIV can improve early detection rates and ensures patients receive the care they need. It can also identify high risk patients and provide them with the care and education to prevent the transmission of HIV.

In this webinar, health care professionals will learn why screening and testing for HIV is so important, how to recognise the clinical indicators for testing, and when it is appropriate to recommend PrEP.
