Registrations are now open for a face-to-face half-day workshop aimed at equipping the health workforce with essential knowledge on syphilis and building health champions to support our communities.
Course Overview
Participants will receive practical tools and strategies to apply in their workplaces and have the opportunity to network with peers and colleagues across the sector. Sessions include epidemiology, presentation and symptoms, transmission, screening, testing, prevention and contact tracing.
Who Should Attend?
The workshop is targeted at Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers, Midwives, Nurses, GPs, and allied health workers in the following sectors:
- Sexual health
- Mental health
- Alcohol and other drugs
- Maternal and child health
- Antenatal care
- Emergency care
