ASHM Conference and Events Division runs a number of medical and scientific events in addition to our flagship annual Australasian HIV&AIDS Conference. ASHM has been following developments on COVID-19 closely, with a focus on ensuring the wellbeing of staff, stakeholders and the public. We also appreciate the additional strain being felt by the healthcare sector at all levels and, given the ongoing developments, ASHM has made the decision to postpone the 12th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference that was scheduled for 16 – 18 August 2020 in Brisbane. This will now be delivered from 30 May - 1 June 2021.
This is the leading multidisciplinary Viral Hepatitis conference in Australasia, held biennially.
